General Information

With a population of over 1.3 million people, Milan is the second largest in Italy and has a history dating back as far as Rome. The Pinacoteca Di Brera Art Museum covers works by major Italian artists from the 13th century to the 20th century, features some of the most famous masterpieces on show, such as The Kiss by Francesco Hayez, The Lamentation of Christ by Andrea Mantegna and Giovanni Bellini's Dead Christ painting. As well as paintings there are plaster casts, sculptures and drawings.
